Schools & Teachers
All of our guest teaching artists are theatre professionals from Toronto and the GTA. They all have extensive training in their area of theatre arts and experience both in the classroom and onstage. Every resident artist has received a Vulnerable Sector Check and is approved to work in an Ontario school. For a complete list of guest teaching artists currently available for workshops please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Please fill out the inquiry form on the school page or contact Carrie to receive the school permit documents to be completed as well as a list of available programs. She will take care of the rest!
At Electric Moon Theatre Company everyone is welcome! Our programs are accessible to all levels of experience!
We will customize any workshop you like. With teaching artists from various backgrounds of theatre, we are sure to create something special for whatever your school is looking for.
Shows and actors
No. Electric Moon Theatre Company features professional adult actors performing for children.
All shows run approximately one hour. They are appropriate for children ages 2 through 12, but the shows we stage have a strong adult appeal, as well.
Yes! The actors are always available following the show for autographs and pictures. You won’t have to look far to find them mingling about in costume.
Theatre and seating
Performance venues may change according to the show. Our current production of Fancy Nancy’s Splenderifous Christmas and Big Nate The Musical will take place in the Plaza Suite, located within the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts, 10268 Yonge St., Richmond Hill. The theatre is easy to reach, just north of Major Mackenzie on the west side of Yonge.
Seating is first-come, first-served. But the Performing Arts Centre’s Plaza Suite is a wonderful venue. There’s not a bad seat in the house! There is regular seating, as well as floor seating for children (and any adult who might like to join them).
Yes. There is free parking in the parking lot directly behind the theatre. Take Richmond or Wright Street off of Yonge.
