STAGE MANAGER FOR PINKALICIOUS THE MUSICAL:

Seeking a Stage Manager for the touring production of Pinkalicious the Musical. Touring will be mainly day tours in Toronto and the GTA to theatres and schools. Some overnights possible, but all locations within Ontario. Show bookings are not everyday so this is a great opportunity to work as a stage manager while still keeping your other jobs!

Pinkalicious is a 1 hour long Theatre For Young Audience musical. Stage Manager will be responsible for driving U-Haul van with show costumes, props and sets; setting up and dismounting set along with the cast; setting up and running microphones and sound at all school shows and calling cues at all theatre performances. Experience with Q-Lab is a plus. Must be willing to get a Vulnerable Sector Check and First Aid training. Daytime weekday rehearsals are scheduled for December 2 – 20, 2019 and again from January 6 -13. Shows run February 17 to May 9, 2020. Must have a Driver’s License and having a car is a plus. Competitive Pay. This is a non-union position.

GUEST TEACHING ARTISTS:

  • Electric Moon Theatre Company’s Guest Teaching Artists will conduct theatre workshops in multiple schools in York Region and GTA. Teaching Artists will assist in the implementation and delivery of school workshops and ensure proper school and classroom etiquette is followed. Must demonstrate experience and knowledge in their specialty within the arts and be able to create a course outline within the guidelines of the workshops, work effectively with teachers and schools, peers and participants. Seeking teaching artists with various specialities and theatre backgrounds including: dance, musical theatre, acting, directing, playwrighting, clowning and stage combat. This is a freelance job. Must have Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Screening within last 6 months or be willing to get one after hiring. Driver’s License an asset.

LUNCH-TIME & AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM INSTRUCTORS:

  • Electric Moon Theatre Company’s Lunch-Time and After-School Theatre Program instructors will instruct theatre classes at Lunch-Time and Afterschool within the York Region District School Board and York Catholic District School Board. Must have experience teaching theatre arts to children. Experience in directing, choreographing and music directing is a plus. Ability to work under pressure and mount a show in a short amount of a time is an asset. Must demonstrate experience and knowledge in your specialty within the arts and be able to create a course outline within the guidelines of the workshops, work effectively with teachers and schools, peers and participants. This is a freelance job. Must have Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Screening within last 6 months or be willing to get one after hiring. Driver’s License an asset.
